The first of the Series of Flood Relief Benefit Concerts in New York will be a solo concert by Bojan Marjanović, a pianist from Belgrade, on May 27, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., at the Church Hall of the Saint Sava Cathedral in New York. Tickets may be purchased at the door, on the day of the concert, for a minimal donation of $20. All proceeds from the concert will be directed towards the flood impacted ares in Serbia and Bosnia. This year, Bojan won a prestigious award at the Golden Key festival in New York for his integral performance of Frederic Chopin’s 24th Etude as the final part of the project of his recently completed Ph.D art studies at the Belgrade Faculty of Music (FMU). Bojan will also be performing at a concert in the Carnegie Hall on May 23.
