For the year 2020, the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Sava was one of twelve honored with this award.
The award was presented (via Zoom) on May 6, 2021, to His Grace, Bishop Irinej.
The President of the NY Landmarks Conservancy, Peg Breen stated, “Saint Sava is being recognized for the first phase of this project, (Enclosure and Stabilization). The Conservancy has a long history with Saint Sava and we look forward to its complete renewal”.
