ORTHODOX COLLEGE AND GRADUATE
Bearing in mind the significant number of students (at all levels of study) at various universities in the New York City Metro area, as well as the importance of connection and exchange, we invite you to the first gathering of Serbian students, which will be held on the premises of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Eleftherios (359 W 24th St, New York, NY 10011), on Friday, November 11th, starting at 7 pm.
This initiative aims to use the large community of former and current students in New York and the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Sava to meet and exchange information and advice and discuss ways we can help each other. Reverend Father Milan Dragović’s (the parish priest of the Cathedral) diligent efforts in connecting students and professors have already resulted in establishing important contacts and creating a network of young Serbian students and professors. In order to make these contacts more permanent and available for the benefit of all of us, however, we believe it is essential to establish a permanent network.
This meeting is intended as an informal get-together in which we would get to know each other better and present some ideas about future exchange and collaboration. Therefore, we ask you to respond and reach out to your contacts to spread the news about the planned meeting of Serbian students and professors in New York.
For all questions and suggestions, and to RSVP, please contact Fr. Milan Dragović directly at (347) 572 8548 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you in advance for your response and ensuring that this invitation reaches as many Serbian students and professors at universities in New York as possible!
