Dear Friends,
Ms. Ana Živković, young and talented faculty at University of Kragujevac, Republic of Serbia, suffers from very rare and devastating tumor of pelvic bones, which has spread into muscles of thigh region.
By charitable donations from Serbian people, funds have been collected for Ana’s treatment (surgery which is to be performed by Dr. Nicola Fabbri of Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC). Ms. Živković is presently in New York and, unfortunately her surgery has been postponed due to the tumor progression. She is staying in a very modest hotel, since she is bound to a wheelchair.
To be able to pay for the Ana’s stay in a hotel (rate $140,00 per night) and unforeseen expenses related to her treatment, we urgently need monetary help. Any donation is welcome and will help Ana.
