Dear Parents,
We would like to inform you that our Serbian school will begin on Sunday, September 18, 2016. Our school follows a curriculum consistent with the guidance of the Department of Education of the Republic of Serbia, applicable to the Serbian schools in Diaspora. Our program will include Catechism, Serbian Language and Literature, History, Geography, and Art History. All of our teachers possess an appropriate diploma and experience for teaching elementary and preschool age children. The preschool program is based on age appropriate books developed by the Kreativni Centar from Serbia, while the program for older children, which do not yet speak Serbian, is based on materials developed by a Foreign Language Institute in Serbia. Обавештавамо Вас да наша српска школа почиње са радом од 18. септембра 2016. године, и то у складу са програмом Министарства просвете Републике Србије, намењеном допунским српским школама у дијаспори. Наш програм за децу у допунској српској школи укључује часове веронауке, српског језика и књижевности, историје, географије и историје уметности, које ће држати квалификовани професори језика, разредне наставе или предшколског образовања. Настава српског језика за предшколску децу ће се одвијати по програму заснованом на удџбеницима „Креативног центра“, а за старију децу, која не говоре спрски језик, по програму Института за стране језике из Србије.
