On Sunday, March 22, 2015, after the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service will be held in memory of those killed during NATO’s aggression in 1999, as well as during the Kosovo Pogrom of 2004. Following the memorial service, a documentary film on Kosovo pogrom “Days Made of Fear” will be shown in the Church Hall.
NATO bombing started on March 24, 1999, and lasted for 78 days. During Kosovo Pogrom in March of 2004, 19 people were killed, more than 4,000 Serbs were left homeless, 935 Serb houses, 10 public facilities (schools, health care centers and post offices), 35 churches, including 18 monuments of culture, were demolished, burnt or severely damaged.
